Denver’s Old House Society Saturday Morning Workshops™ -9:00 a.m. to Noon – Three 45-minute presentations on a variety of topics such as masonry, heating and cooling an old house, appropriate colors for specific architectural styles and zoning with exhibits of products and services for old-houses.
Guided walking tours –In Denver’s old neighborhoods, home owners host the guided walking tours, which are designed by board members with architectural, construction, zoning and historic preservation experience, and provide refreshments after the tours. Dinners for old-house lovers with Informal speaker presentations – During or after dinner in an old house, experts talk about a variety of topics such as the Victorian era, old wallpapers, house or neighborhood histories and zoning issues.
Old-House Fairs – All-day events, the fairs include numerous workshops on a variety of topics of interest to old-house owners and an exhibit center for vendors of products and services for old houses.
